Q: I’ve never done Capoeira before, can I still join any classes?
A: Of course you can. You can arrive at any classes because teacher will take you through the basic movements one-to-one basis during the classes.
Q: What shall I wear for the classes?
A: Comfortable sportswear – track pants (shorts not allowed), t-shirt (long enough to be tucked in) and trainers (thinner soles are recommended). Please arrive 15 mins before the class to get changed.
Q: I’ve done Capoeira before but new to Capoeira Angola, can I still train with you?
A: Sure you can, but some conditions apply. If you’ve stopped for a while or are not training with any other group regularly, we recommend you to firstly train intensively the basic movements before go into more complex movements. If you are still training regularly with other group, please inform your teacher about the attendance and attend the class in your group uniform. Please note that as a non-beginner visitor from the other group, we’re afraid that you may only be able to attend our classes once a month.
Q: Do I need to bring my own instruments to the classes?
A: Unless you would like to bring your own. We have all the instruments ready here for you to practice the music.
Q: How can I pay for the classes?
A: We only accept cash or monthly standing order if you are paying monthly.
Q: Do I have to wear the uniform?
A: If you decided to train with us regularly, we would like you to use our uniform after the 3 months of training with us. £35 for the set of uniform (1 yellow t-shirt, 1 white t-shirt and a pair of black trousers). or £15 for yellow & white t-shirts.
